SOS Neurologists are available every day in Athens for urgent or scheduled home visits to address any neurological issue at the patient’s residence.
They perform a thorough clinical examination, take a detailed medical history, recommend the appropriate treatment, and are fully equipped and trained to carry out neurological procedures — including in-home electroencephalogram (EEG) and electromyography (EMG), when necessary.

SOS neurologists are available for both emergency situations and scheduled home visits to assess the patient’s neurological condition.
During the visit, the neurologist conducts a thorough examination, reviews the patient's medical history, provides a diagnosis, and recommends the appropriate treatment. A follow-up visit is often arranged to evaluate the patient’s progress and determine whether the condition is improving, stable, or worsening.
If needed, the SOS neurologist may consult with other medical specialists, such as a SOS psychiatrist, to ensure a comprehensive and effective approach to the patient’s condition.
A detailed medical report is always provided to both the patient and their primary physician.
We do not seek to replace the patient’s regular doctor or family physician. Rather, we provide critical care at a key moment and ensure full communication with the attending physician through our written report.
